Ana Lario is a Spanish born, London-based fashion and beauty film director. She tells carefully crafted stories, with a unique perspective and aesthetic. Ana is constantly exploring new ways to innovate and push her craft to new boundaries with provocative imagery, retro styles, and bold colours.

Before starting her film career, Ana worked as a creative, art director, editor and motion designer. This background has given her a distinctive set of skills, perspectives, and work-flow when making films.

Ana has been fortunate to collaborate with some of the most renowned agencies in London and Barcelona. Her work spans TVC’s, mood film, fashion films, music videos, pitch, and reels. Ana has edited almost all her film work.

While she has experimented in various styles and industries, her passion and talent always gravitated towards luxury, fashion and beauty clients.

Notable Work

Instagram

Ana is one of the creatives motion directors that Instagram uses for its ‘Instagram Sprints’. A workshop day for clients and agencies to learn how to create high-quality, engaging content. It an opportunity to learn the craft and value behind creating Instagram Stories as opposed to traditional TVC.

Burberry

Ana worked at Burberry’s head office in London for three years. She was part of the in-house video production team, creating bespoke video content for their flagship stores in Regent St and Covent Garden in London and Pacific Place in Hong Kong.

Motion designer for Burberry’s highly technical £55m Regent St flagship store. with 23 synchronised screens, including the world’s largest screen in retail theatre 22ft

Her work in the Burberry beauty box in Covent Garden store included a Burberry-check window screen and a 14 iPad chandelier.

In addition to her work at the Regent Street and Covent Garden stores, Ana was part of the team behind the Apple / Burberry collaboration where the iPhone 5S and the Burberry Spring / Summer 2014  womenswear collection released in September 2013

She has also collaborated for OFFICE x Nike Air Max creating content for their stores in the UK.

Film Lecturing

In addition to Ana’s work with world-leading fashion and beauty brands, she’s also lectured at London College of Fashion (UAL) and IDEP (Barcelona).
